Sector 01
Governance
Public trust and effective institutions depend on evidence, not assumption. Governance work underpins how SVI's government and development partners understand — and improve — how the state actually functions for the people it serves.

Mining
Mining projects carry social and environmental stakes that outlast the mine itself. SVI provides the independent data that keeps community impact, resettlement, and local content commitments accountable — one of SVI's strongest and longest-running sectors.
SVI's mining-sector work centers on Guinea's Boké corridor, where the firm has run socio-economic baselines, resettlement monitoring, and community perception surveys tied to some of the country's largest bauxite and rail projects.

Transport
Transport planning depends on knowing how people and goods actually move — not how planners assume they move.
